Walk to Remember

The movie is corny at times, but corniness is all right at times. I forgave the movie its broad emotion because it earned it. It lays things on a little thick at the end, but by then it had paid its way. Landon Carter (Shane West), a troubled North Carolina teenager, falls in love with Jamie Sullivan, a preacher's daughter played with a beatific glow by Mandy Moore, the MTV pop princess. Directed by Adam Shankman from Nicholas Sparks's inspirational novel, "A Walk to Remember" proves that a movie about goodness is not the same thing as a good movie.

The movie story starts from a bevy of bad boy in the act on cement factory. Landon is a popular guy betwen them. There he was noticed by a girl named Jamie, Jamie is the son of a pastor in the church. He has a very good voice. It turns out Jamie Landon has known from childhood, but with Jamie looks innocent and a nerd, Landon hated him. When Landon was serving his sentence for training in drama at school, Landon was reunited with Jamie. He asked Jamie to teach. Jamie Landon surprised with the request that suddenly, gladly consented Jamie Landon, but with one condition Landon must not fall in love with him.

Musical staging came, Landon can play its role very well, as well as Jamie is singing with a melodious voice and a very beautiful appearance, so make Landon surprised by the beauty of Jamie, at the end of the play Jamie and Landon kiss it is the beginning of love them. Landon asks Jamie to be with him.

Day by day passed, Jamie's father tried to remind her not to fall in love with Jamie suffers from Leukaemia reasons, but Jamie still love and a relationship with Landon. One night, when Landon wants to delivered her home, Jamie notifying about the disease and make Landon shocked and very sad.

One day, Jamie entered the hospital because of her illness is getting worse. Jamie and Landon accompany relentlessly until he recovers. One morning, when Landon was about Jamie visited him, he was surprised to see that Jamie was discharged, Landon's father who pays all medical expenses lover. Landon immediately goes to see his father and apologized for all this time has hated his father. Remainder of life that no longer Jamie, Jamie has one wish is to get married in the church where his parents got married. Jamie’s request is fulled by Landon, but the marriage did not last long as Jamie was dead. Landon tried to toughen up and keep cool with the departure of Jamie’s, Landon has been changing lives for the better, meaningful and teach the true love story.

I like to watch this movie because this is a romantic movie, actually I get much lessons. It also leaves you breathless, because it makes you see that miracles really do exist. Many people actually believed that a movie like this was long overdue (it actually follows the same storyline of "Love Story"), though the critics hated it. Go out and either buy or rent yourself a copy and watch. You will really enjoy it. Moral value is we should not look someone in their bad side, but also look their  right side, too.
